In 2017, the Connolly family welcomed their second baby girl. Little miss was born premature at 35 weeks and spent some time in the NICU. Shortly after birth the family was looking for a newborn photographer as their original photographer did not have time in her schedule baby being born much earlier than their previously set date however they desperately wanted the same sleepy newborn photos that they had with their first. They reached out to me following a recommendation that I had my own prematurely born children trusting me to capture their precious preemie daughter.
Little miss was born via cesarean section and it was important to mum to incorporate her scar into her photos as part of her journey. Her big sister loved to get involved with the process and the family have memories to cherish.
